Privacy & KVKK Notice

This notice explains how Security Experts Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi (“Security Experts”, “we”), acting as data controller, processes personal data collected through this website, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

Data controller

Personal data we collect

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), company (optional), the service you are interested in and the content of your message.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, collected through server logs and essential cookies required for the website to function.

Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to your enquiries and preparing proposals — KVKK Art. 5/2(c) (necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract) and Art. 5/2(f) (legitimate interest).
• Operating, securing and improving this website — KVKK Art. 5/2(f) (legitimate interest).
• Fulfilling legal obligations, including commercial and tax record-keeping — KVKK Art. 5/2(ç).
• Sending you marketing communications — only with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Transfers

Personal data may be shared with our hosting and email providers (located in Türkiye or abroad, subject to KVKK Art. 9), with authorised public institutions where legally required, and with professional advisers bound by confidentiality. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiry data is retained for as long as necessary to respond and for a maximum of 2 years thereafter, unless a contract is concluded, in which case commercial-law retention periods apply (10 years). Server logs are retained for 2 years in line with Law No. 5651.

Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information, correction, deletion or destruction; to object to results produced by automated processing; and to claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing. Requests can be sent to info@security-experts.net or by post to our registered address. We respond within 30 days.
